Executive Profile

A career built at the intersection of finance, business, and U.S.–Mexico binational leadership.

Lorena Cortés Domínguez is an executive, entrepreneur, and binational leader with more than two decades of experience in finance, business administration, tax compliance, and the development of initiatives connecting Mexico and the United States.

Her professional background spans banking, internal audit, financial analysis, business administration, accounting, and tax compliance, as well as the development and management of her own business ventures.

In 2009, she founded TAXREPUBLIC, Inc., which she has led ever since. Through the firm, she has served more than 2,000 individuals, entrepreneurs, and businesses, including clients with operations, investments, ownership, or economic ties between the United States and Mexico.

In parallel, she has built more than a decade of institutional and community leadership. As founder of Morelenses en Texas — Tepalcingo Unido and Corazón de Plata Morelos, she has advanced family reunification, government engagement, economic development, and initiatives serving migrant communities.

Her work converges around one vision: connecting people, businesses, and institutions across Mexico and the United States to transform cross-border relationships into opportunities for compliance, growth, and development.
